Disclaimer
Understand PDFForge tool limitations, summary accuracy, compression trade-offs, and document editing risks. Keep originals and review output before sharing.
Updated October 7, 2026. PDFForge offers practical document utilities and educational content. No tool output or article should be treated as a guarantee of document integrity, factual accuracy, regulatory compliance, or a particular search ranking.
Keep originals and verify outputs
Always preserve source documents. Open each download and inspect its page order, count, readability, and required behavior before sharing it. Browser compatibility, file complexity, encryption, and memory constraints can affect processing. Digital signatures, form fields, links, bookmarks, metadata, and accessibility structure may change during editing.
Compression and conversion
The current compressor creates image-based pages and can remove searchable text and interactive content. It does not guarantee a smaller file or lossless quality. Converting images to PDF does not add OCR or restore blurry details. Converting PDF pages to images does not retain document text selection, links, or forms.
Summaries and AI terminology
The AI PDF Summarizer uses local extractive sentence selection, not a generative AI model. It may emphasize repeated wording, miss key qualifications, or extract complex layouts in an unexpected order. Review page references and surrounding source context. AI Text to PDF and AI Image to PDF format supplied content using browser code and jsPDF; they do not create new prose or images.
Not secure redaction or access control
Watermarks and page-editing tools do not certify secure removal of hidden data, provide encryption, or prevent copying. Do not use a visual overlay as a substitute for verified redaction. Use a specialized procedure for sensitive documents and follow your organization's security requirements.
Not professional advice
Guides are general educational material, not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Consult an appropriately qualified person when decisions depend on accuracy, rights, or regulatory obligations. External links and advertisements do not establish endorsement or responsibility for third-party practices.
